The Role
We are looking to appoint an experienced and strategic
National Account Manager
to lead and grow our UK
Food Service
business. This is a high-impact role, reporting directly to the CEO.
You will take ownership of the UK food service channel--developing strategy, managing key accounts, and driving sustainable growth in line with the company's ambitious vision.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and deliver the UK Food Service sales strategy and targets in collaboration with the CEO.
Build strong, long-term relationships with key customers to secure retention and drive growth.
Ensure best-in-class customer satisfaction by fostering a responsive, solutions-focused team culture.
Analyse market trends and customer feedback to shape product and service development.
Lead, motivate, and develop the sales support team to meet performance goals.
Design and implement compelling sales promotions and initiatives tailored to the food service sector.
Conduct regular performance reviews with key accounts to monitor satisfaction and uncover new opportunities.
Act as a brand ambassador at industry events, trade shows, and networking engagements to enhance market presence and unlock new business.
What We're Looking For
A minimum of
3+ years' experience, gained in a Premium Product Food Service Sales role
Consideration will be given to ambitious candidates that have a minimum of 3+ years
experience in a Senior Purchasing role
at one of the UK's major food service distributors.
Demonstrated ability to
deliver challenging targets
and open new business channels.
Confident in preparing proposals, managing tenders, and presenting new products to clients.
Strong leadership skills with experience managing and developing small teams.
Solid grasp of
IT systems, ERP, and CRM platforms
.
Commercially savvy with the ability to contribute strategically as part of a senior leadership team.
Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with an eye for detail.
