About the role:
We are seeking a talented National Account Manager to own the relationship with Boots and nurture the relationships with other retailers and partners. You will lead and execute joint business plans ensuring the alignment of objectives and targets. This involves building a strong partnership with customers to ensure sales targets are met as well as day to day activities such as managing trade spend, promotional budgets, and driving category growth initiatives.
You will collaborate closely with internal Absolute Collagen teams such as Supply Chain, Finance, and Marketing to ensure accurate forecasting, availability, and timely delivery. You will also support the UK Retail Director in meeting with customers, building relationships, and seeking out new business opportunities. Regular forecasting, reporting, and tracking of sales performance will be essential to stay on top of your key metrics and ensure the growth of your account.
Day to Day management of customer across all channels and all relevant product categories
Develop and execute effective sales strategies within the retail channel
Identify opportunities to drive growth and profitability
Stay abreast of key customer strategy, industry trends and competitor activities
Develop and manage regular reporting to the business on account performance
Provide accurate sales forecasts
Build strong relationships with all internal and external stakeholders
Work with the customer and internal teams to ensure first class execution in store
The Successful Candidate:
The successful candidate should have:
Experience working with large UK Retailers at national level
Proven sales experience in the beauty, wellness or personal care categories
Self-starter - able to work in a fast-paced, challenging environment
Graduate calibre with strong commercial acumen
Exceptional negotiation and communication skills
Strong analytical skills to make data-driven decisions
A positive attitude
A customer-centric approach to sales
Proficiency in sales management software and reporting
Ability to commute to Birmingham
