This is a dynamic role and an integral part of the Masons of Yorkshire Team; linking the business with some of our key customers and biggest opportunities for growth. Clients include the main multiple grocers and retail discounters.
The ability to build and nurture relationships is key to success. You will be expected to profitably increase sales whilst having an understanding of how your decisions impact the wider business. The ability to identify and secure new commercial opportunities whilst maximising existing business will be integral.
Manage accounts to ensure annual turnover, volume and profit growth targets are achieved with a proactive approach to developing new business and maximising sales opportunities.
Agree an annual promotional plan with customers that maximises revenue and profitability, submit relevant paperwork, check implementation of the plan and analyse performance post promotion.
Present NPD, generate new business, manage product launches and develop existing listings to ensure range is optimal on a customer by customer basis.
Agree Customer Activation Budget (internally and externally) and devise full year customer support plans to include activation activity for any NPD launches.
Raise the profile of Masons of Yorkshire and the total brand portfolio across the customer base.
Regularly update internal forecasts and ensure they are as accurate as possible and reflect promotional activity where appropriate. Ensure adequate notice is given for any changes to the plan. NPD and delists should be captured in the forecast as well as giving written confirmation of such changes to the wider business.
Regularly review customer stock holding and ensure there is adequate provision in the customer network.
Conduct weekly EPOS analysis and subsequent reporting back to the wider business.
Compile annual budget and report monthly against it.
Ensure there is regular, effective and timely communication with other internal teams including Operations/Marketing/Finance & Admin.
