Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Bus Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in commercial driving, with a focus on safety and customer service. As a Bus Driver, you will be responsible for transporting passengers safely and efficiently while ensuring compliance with all traffic regulations and company policies. This role requires excellent communication skills and the ability to work well under pressure.

Responsibilities

Safely operate a bus, adhering to all traffic laws and company policies. Ensure the safety and comfort of passengers during transit. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition. Maintain accurate records of routes, passenger counts, and any incidents that occur during transit. Provide excellent customer service by assisting passengers with inquiries and ensuring a pleasant travel experience. Report any mechanical issues or maintenance needs to the appropriate personnel promptly. Collaborate with dispatchers and other team members to ensure timely departures and arrivals.

Experience

Proven experience in commercial driving, preferably as a Bus Driver or in a similar role. Delivery driver experience is advantageous, demonstrating an understanding of route planning and time management. Mechanical knowledge is beneficial for identifying basic vehicle issues. Experience operating flatbed vehicles is a plus. Prior warehouse experience may be helpful in understanding logistics operations. Strong communication skills are essential for interacting with passengers and team members effectively.
