Our service division is a customer-facing function in a very demanding industry; the successful candidate will be dealing with some of the leading restaurants as well as a variety of casual dining chains, hotels, educational establishments, hospitals, government buildings, and offices. We're excited to offer an opportunity for a National Operations Manager - a key leadership role driving strategic direction and operational excellence across our nationwide service delivery.

About the Role:







Reporting to the Service Director, the National Operations Manager leads the day-to-day performance of our field service teams across the country. You'll oversee resource planning, logistics, and budget control, while driving process consistency, safety compliance, and continuous improvement.





You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless service delivery, support regional operations, and drive strategies that boost productivity and quality nationwide. A key part of the role is developing team capability, ensuring alignment with company standards, and identifying opportunities to improve operational efficiency.





This is a hands-on leadership role that requires strong commercial awareness, excellent people management, and a passion for delivering high-quality service at scale.




Key Responsibilities:





Develop and execute operational strategies aligned with business goals. Drive performance improvements through data analysis, process optimisation, and technology adoption. Provide leadership and support to Regional Managers, promoting a high-performance and collaborative culture. Oversee operational budgets, resource planning, and cost-control initiatives to maximise efficiency. Monitor team performance and support ongoing development through coaching and reviews. Ensure customer satisfaction through effective service delivery and timely issue resolution. Build strong relationships with key stakeholders, clients, and internal teams to support business growth. Deliver regular performance reports and insights to senior leadership. Ensure compliance with health & safety, regulatory, and company standards across all operations.



Who We're Looking For:





Proven experience in operations management within a multi-site or national setting. Strong leadership, team management, and mentoring skills. Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration abilities. Confident decision-maker with strong analytical and organisational skills. Proficient in business systems (e.g. SAP, Power BI) and interpreting operational data. Formal training in business, operations, or leadership, with a strong grasp of strategic and commercial principles.

Hours of work & Benefits:
