National Sales Account Manager
to drive growth by expanding our customer base and building long-term client relationships.
The Role
As a National Sales Account Manager, you will be responsible for
developing new business
,
managing existing key accounts
, and
responding to tenders and large contract opportunities
across the UK. We are looking for a proactive professional with
proven experience in the PPE and workwear sector
, and ideally someone with a
portfolio of active client contacts
.
Key Responsibilities
Identify and secure new business opportunities across relevant sectors
Build and manage relationships with key accounts, ensuring repeat business
Respond to commercial and public sector tenders with a strong understanding of pricing, compliance, and specifications
Meet and exceed sales targets through consultative selling and relationship management
Deliver product presentations and attend client site meetings nationwide
Collaborate with internal teams (procurement, marketing, operations) to deliver seamless customer service
Maintain accurate records using CRM tools
Requirements
3+ years of sales experience
in the PPE, workwear, or uniform supply industry
Strong knowledge of industry standards, safety requirements, and product ranges
Proven track record of securing and growing key accounts
Existing contacts or client base is
highly desirable
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel
Desirable
Experience in dealing with FM companies, construction contractors, or local councils
Familiarity with procurement platforms
Ability to contribute to bid writing and pricing strategy
