Job Description

TSC Subsea is a global specialist in developing advanced remotely deployed subsea NDT inspection solutions to assess the structural integrity of offshore assets.



We use driverless underwater scanners and crawlers to deploy the latest high resolution inspection technologies ART, ACFM, PA and PEC to the work face. Purpose

As an NDE Specialist, you will be responsible for executing and supporting advanced NDT inspections using Phased Array Ultrasonic Testing (PAUT), Time of Flight Diffraction (ToFD), and Alternating Current Field Measurement (ACFM) and our proprietary Acoustic Resonance Technology (ART). You will play a key role in both onshore and offshore operations, supporting inspection campaigns, trials, and validations, and ensuring the highest standards of data quality and safety

Responsibilities

Perform advanced NDT inspections using ToFD, PAUT, ART and ACFM techniques. Support the integration and deployment of robotic inspection tools in subsea environments. Interpret inspection data and generate detailed technical reports. Collaborate with engineering and project teams to plan and execute inspection scopes. Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety protocols, and client specifications. Participate in onshore trials, FATs, and offshore mobilizations as required. Maintain and calibrate NDT equipment and ensure readiness for deployment. Provide technical input for procedure development and continuous improvement initiatives

Requirements & qualifications

Valid certifications in ToFD, PAUT, and ACFM (e.g., PCN, CSWIP, ASNT Level II or III). 5+ years of experience in advanced NDT, preferably in offshore or subsea environments. Strong understanding of NDT codes and standards (e.g., ASME, ISO, EN). Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team. Experience with robotic or automated NDT systems. Familiarity with Pulsed Eddy Current (PEC) and other advanced NDT methods. Knowledge of offshore safety protocols and HSE regulations (e.g., ISO 45001, OSHA). Proficiency in Microsoft Office and NDT data analysis software Willingness to travel and support offshore operations. Full UK driving license Right to live and work in the United Kingdom or Norway.
