Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Netball Coach to work with one of our partner schools. The successful candidate will be responsible for guiding and developing pupils ages 5-13 years old in a netball program. This role offers an exciting opportunity to inspire individuals, promote healthy lifestyles, and contribute to their personal growth through sport. The Coach will work closely with pupils of all skill levels, creating a positive and motivating environment that encourages excellence and enjoyment.

Responsibilities

Plan and deliver engaging training sessions tailored to the skill levels. Develop customised training programmes aimed at improving technical skills, fitness, and team cohesion. Provide constructive feedback and encouragement to help pupils achieve their personal bests. Organise and oversee practice drills and games Promote fair play, sportsmanship, and safety during all activities. Monitor participant progress and maintain accurate records of attendance and performance. Foster a positive environment that motivates individuals to reach their full potential. Collaborate with other teachers within the games department to ensure programme consistency and quality.

Requirements

Proven experience in netball playing or coaching. Strong knowledge of netball Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate and inspire participants of varying ages. Ability to organise engaging sessions that balance skill development with enjoyment. A recognised coaching qualification or relevant certification is preferred but not essential. Passion for sport and helping young people achieve their goals. Ability to work flexible hours including afternoons Monday-Friday and Saturday mornings.
Job Type: Part-time

Pay: 22.00-25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 9 - 15 per week
