We are currently looking for a Network Coordinator (Going Places Project) to join our team. You will be working within CofGar, the Museum and Arts Service, based at Carmarthenshire Museum to support the Communities of Making network, as part of Going Places. Going Places is an Art Fund programme made possible with generous support from The National Lottery Heritage Fund and the Julia Rausing Trust. Carmarthenshire Museum is working with Lisburn Museum & Irish Linen Centre and High Life Highland as part of the Communities of Making network to deliver two touring exhibitions and community engagement activities over a 5-year period.
The Role
The 'Network Coordinator' will support delivery of the programme and maintain an oversight of network activities, feedback, manage and devolve network level resources, and engage, diversify and develop connections between heritage collections and communities.
This is a part time post working 12 hours per week FTE 0.32 over 2 weekdays based at Carmarthenshire Museum. This is a hybrid role, you will be expected to regularly meet in-person with your line manager at your main workplace, but the rest of your working hours can be spent either working from home or at another Carmarthenshire Council Council workplace.
The Duties
A typical day in the life of a Network Coordinator could involve:
Collating network information and preparing project reports for Art Fund
Contributing to the identification, development and delivery of online work events, learning opportunities and sector sharing
Monitoring and supporting the distribution of the Network Level budget
Monitoring task progress, resources and marketing assets
Organising project travel and accommodation for partners
The Candidate
To be considered for the role you will need:
To be educated to A-level or equivalent level 3 qualification
Evidence of working in an administrative role, managing budgets and schedules
Knowledge of the UK Museum and/or Heritage sector
Experience managing budgets, monitoring project spends and hands on marketing and media relations experience
Part Time Hours (pro-rata salary):
If the job you are applying for is less than 37-hours per week the salary will be based on the number of hours you work. For example, if the full-time salary for the job is 25,000 and the job you are applying for is 20 hours per week the annual salary for that job is 13,513 (25,000 / 37 X 20).
