Job Summary


We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Network Manager to oversee and maintain our organization's complex IT infrastructure. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting network systems to ensure optimal performance, security, and reliability. This role requires expertise in computer networking, network security, system administration, and virtualization technologies. The Network Manager will lead network support initiatives, manage network architecture, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business objectives.

Responsibilities



Design, implement, and manage enterprise network infrastructure including LAN, WAN, SAN, VPNs, and MPLS networks. Oversee network security protocols such as firewalls (Cisco ASA), IDS/IPS systems, PKI, LDAP, SSO, and network hardening practices. Configure and maintain network hardware including Cisco routers, Juniper devices, Meraki switches, and wireless access points. Manage routing protocols such as OSPF, BGP, EIGRP to ensure high availability and optimal data flow across the network. Monitor network performance using tools like SolarWinds, PRTG, Splunk, and SolarWinds to proactively identify issues. Conduct vulnerability assessments and implement system hardening measures to safeguard against cyber threats. Support virtualization platforms such as VMware vSphere/ESXi and Citrix environments; manage server OS including Windows Server, Linux distributions (Ubuntu, Debian, CentOS), Solaris, BSD. Automate routine tasks using scripting languages like PowerShell, Bash Shell Scripting, Python; utilize Ansible for configuration management. Manage cloud-based services including AWS and Azure; oversee virtualized environments with vSphere and VMware ESXi. Support remote access solutions via SSH, SFTP, openSUSE Linux servers; ensure secure VPN connectivity using IPsec and SSL protocols. Collaborate on network architecture planning for high availability solutions with load balancing techniques; implement DNS/DHCP services with GPO integration. Lead incident response efforts related to network security breaches or outages; perform vulnerability assessments and remediation strategies. Maintain documentation of network configurations and procedures following SDLC best practices; adhere to ITIL standards for service management.

Requirements



Proven experience in computer networking with a strong understanding of TCP/IP protocols, routing protocols (OSPF, BGP), VLANs, DHCP/DNS services. Extensive knowledge of network security tools including firewalls (Cisco ASA), IDS/IPS systems, encryption protocols (SSL/TLS), SSO solutions. Hands-on experience managing Cisco routers/switches (Meraki), Juniper devices; familiarity with SDN concepts is a plus. Proficiency in system administration across multiple operating systems including Windows Server environments and Linux distributions (Ubuntu, CentOS). Strong scripting skills in PowerShell, Bash Shell Scripting or Python for automation tasks; experience with Ansible preferred. Familiarity with virtualization platforms such as VMware vSphere/ESXi or Hyper-V; experience with Citrix is advantageous. Knowledge of cloud computing platforms like AWS or Azure for hybrid cloud solutions. Ability to perform vulnerability assessments using tools like SolarWinds or Splunk; implement system hardening measures accordingly. Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex network issues efficiently. Relevant certifications such as CCNA/CCNP/CCIE or equivalent are highly desirable. Pay: 45,000.00-55,000.00 per year
