Introduction:

Are you eager to learn and apply the latest network technologies? Are you passionate and thrive in a challenging environment? Do you have experience with software-defined networking and optical transport platforms? Bank of America places an emphasis on multi-layer network security and segmenting to create a better network infrastructure. If you are detailed-orientated, have great communication and collaboration skills and are open to taking on new challenges this could be the role for you.

Responsibilities:

  • You will help create a global network security architecture that separates both the underlay and overlay networks into different levels.
  • You will partner with the Global Information Security (GIS) team to support in aligning network security architecture to baselines, policies and security standards.
  • You\xe2\x80\x99ll consult on GIS projects and engagements requiring support from CDCNA team.
  • You will support network audits, and work with compute, storage, app and order technology teams.
  • You will support CDCNA Centre of Excellent process and contribute to architectural whitepapers, product guides, high-level designs and design standards.
  • You will provide financial input for new initiatives and conduct comparative financial analysis.
What we are looking for:
  • You have experience working as a network engineer in LAN/WAN/routing/switching with Cisco Systems equipment and experience as a networking SME within Information Security.
  • You are skilled in networking protocols configuration.
  • You have knowledge in VMWare products (NSX/NSX-T), container networking, Kubernetes and hypervisors and are familiar with SD-WAN and SASE technologies.
  • You have excellent customer service skills including written and oral communication and task prioritization
  • You are capable in cross-functional teams and can work with geographically dispersed teams while leading multi-discipline technology teams.
  • You possess Cisco CCNA/CCNP/CCIE routing certifications or equivalent work experience.
  • You hold a BA or BS in Telecommunications, Information Security or Computer Science and CCSP and/or Azure Certifications
