WHAT TO EXPECT

Get ready to dive into the dynamic world of vehicle development within systems architecture. You will be at the centre of it all, managing key stakeholders across diverse business areas, shaping and driving the future of our luxury vehicles.

You will be instrumental in enhancing systems across every new vehicle program, ensuring excellence in both new cycle and off cycle vehicles. What makes this role so unique? JLR creates its own networks and systems architecture in house, and you will be at the forefront of our journey.

Aiming to achieve attribute targets with unwavering precision, as well as taking the wheel in driving the creation and technical validation of product cycle proposals, this position is highly diverse and a fantastic challenge for someone looking for their next step up within systems and network engineering!

Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities

Work on the successful resolution of technical conflicts to achieve the overall product assumptions & attributes in line with the target costs, weight, commonality and variety

Manage the continuously changing information coming from all functions and maintaining records appropriately, whilst tracking and communicating this to all those affected, including issue of technical & cost summaries for any product concepts

Organisation of driven and non-driven attribute demonstrations to Vehicle Evaluation Team (VET) and senior management

Prototype vehicle planning - run the Test and Development Management, generate fleet plans and SDV matrix

WHAT YOU WILL NEED

Experience of technical analysis and demonstration of employing best-in-class processes wherever possible

Technical knowledge and experience of key vehicle systems and whole vehicle engineering

Experience using tools such as, Preevision, Capital Networks, Dassault, CAN, CAN-FD or Autosar

Proven ability to work with technical data and combine business skills with technical decision-making

Knowledge of project time line management
