We are currently looking to expand our team of Speech and Language Therapy Assistants / Neuro Rehabilitation Assistants in Essex.

We are recruiting for a specific client who requires two 6-hour shifts per week. Due to the nature of the client's support needs, we are looking to recruit a male support worker to assist a male client with specific care and wellbeing needs. This post is exempt under the Equality Act 2010, Schedule 9, Part 1 -- Genuine Occupational Requirement

We are a well-established neuro SLT service currently covering all of London, the home counties and beyond.

We are looking for those who can drive & have access to their own car as the role is a community-based role, mainly seeing clients in their own homes.

The role of an assistant would include:

Facilitate rehabilitation for adult and paediatric clients with neurological impairments - usually within their own home. Delivering SLT (and other therapy e.g. OT/physio) programmes to clients with neurological impairments, under the guidance of the wider MDT / therapy team. To deliver treatment plans to assist clients to develop, maintain or restore physical, cognitive, psycho-social and/or communication skills.
We offer self-employed and flexible hours. The candidate would need to drive (and have their own car) & be willing to travel to clients (paid travel).

We are looking for individuals that have experience in working with clients with neurological disorders and ideally have experience in carrying out therapy with clients.
