Job Description

We are looking to expand our team of Speech and Language Therapy Assistants / Neuro Rehabilitation Assistants in Nottinghamshire/Derbyshire/Hetfordshire/Leicestershire/Midlands and surrounding areas. We are a well-established neuro SLT service currently covering all of London, the home counties and beyond.

We are ideally looking for those who can drive & have access to their own car as the role is a community-based role, mainly seeing clients in their own homes.

The role of an assistant would include:

Facilitate rehabilitation for adult and paediatric clients with neurological impairments - usually within their own home. Delivering SLT (and other therapy e.g. OT/physio) programmes to clients with neurological impairments, under the guidance of the wider MDT / therapy team. To deliver treatment plans to assist clients to develop, maintain or restore physical, cognitive, psycho-social and/or communication skills.
We offer self-employed and flexible hours. We are ideally looking for assistants that can provide a minimum of around 10-15 hours per week. The ideal candidate would drive (and have their own car) & be willing to travel to clients (paid travel).

We are looking for individuals that have experience in working with clients with neurological disorders and ideally have experience in carrying out therapy with clients.
