Annual guaranteed salary of 24'000 plus uncapped commission - If based on continent pay will be EUR28'000.
Location Flexible: Home based with occasional visit to Nottingham Head Office.
Monday to Friday - 40 hours per week (full training provided). This is a September start date role.
About the Job
Warlord Games is currently recruiting in our Trade Sales department for New Business Executives speaking European Languages. This is a telephone-based role where you will be responsible for the generation of new business. It will be your responsibility to recruit new stores to carry Warlord Games products and make sure the range they take is appropriate for them. Once opened the account will then be passed over to our team of Account Managers who will look after the ongoing relationship with the stores. You will need a strong work ethic and be able to work independently as well as within a team. A willingness to learn is essential, as are the abilities to clearly convey information and listen to the customer's needs.
In this role you will be:
Generating your own leads and well as acting on existing leads within your given territory
Prioritising the location and type of stores that you are opening
Opening a minimum of 6 new Brick and Mortar accounts per month within that territory
Ensuring the ranges sold into the new accounts are appropriate to the store
Handing over the new accounts to the relevant Account Manager
Looking for ways to improve our offer and develop your own skills
Contact potential or existing customers to inform them about a product or service using scripts
Answer questions about products or the company
Ask questions to understand customer requirements and close sales
Direct prospects to the field sales team when needed
Enter and update customer information in the database
Take and process orders in an accurate manner
Go the "extra mile" to meet sales quota and facilitate future sales
Keep records of calls and sales and note useful information
Warlord Games' trade business is a global affair, and you will be focusing on both the UK markets and overseas.
Fluent English language is essential + one other European language. French, German are preferred. Italian or Polish are also welcome.
Key Requirements:
Applicant must speak and write German or Spanish.
Proven experience as telesales representative or other sales/customer service role
Proven track record of successfully meeting sales targets preferably over the phone
Good knowledge of relevant computer programs (e.g. CRM software) and telephone systems
Ability to learn about products and services and describe/explain them to prospects
Excellent knowledge of English both verbal and written
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Cool-tempered and able to handle rejection
Outstanding negotiation skills with the ability to resolve issues and address complaints
A Commercial mindset and ability to grow your territory with Warlord's growth plans
Previous knowledge in the gaming industry is not a requirement but a passion and understanding for hobbies is essential
Location: Home Working
Telephone based but you will need to attend planning meetings in Nottingham if you are based in the UK.
