An exciting opportunity has now arisen within the Halesworth Agency.
The Role
You will be a part of a small team and play a key role in the success and growth of the local agency. We are looking for local friendly individual who thrives on a challenge, loves the buzz of closing deals, exceeding targets and feeling you have done the best for our customer, before moving onto your next sales opportunity. The role is office based and you will be customer facing and the first point of contact when a customer calls or comes into the office. You will handle new business enquiries, complete incoming quotation requests with our customers but you must also be self-motivated to be a confident lead generator to create other quotation opportunities. You will build up an understanding of customers insurance needs and have the ability to win the sale, spot opportunities to cross sell and to develop good customers relations. You must have an excellent telephone manner, be a great team player and have a people orientated approach to everything you do.
About You:
5 GCSE's (or equivalent) including Maths & English
Good IT skills
Good interpersonal and communication skills
Reliable & Trustworthy
Be organised and able to work to deadlines required
Have the ability to manage own work loads and prioritise accordingly
No previous insurance experience required but would be an advantage
Previous sales experience
The successful candidate will be required to complete training organised by NFU Mutual and pass the relevant licensing qualifications within an agreed timeframe.

Benefits
Competitive salary (depending on experience) plus bonus and commission. The position is office based in Halesworth, 35 hours per week, Monday - Friday 9am - 5pm. On site free parking. Office located next to Halesworth Train Station
