This is a
full-cycle sales role
. BDEs are responsible for prospecting and closing their own business, while feeding structured insight back into the organisation to inform wider go-to-market decisions.
Key Responsibilities
Prospect, qualify, and close new business end-to-end
Work from company-provided prospecting records aligned to defined ICPs
Test and sell new product propositions, markets, and sales approaches
Run structured outbound activity across phone, email, and other channels
Maintain accurate CRM records, pipeline hygiene, and activity tracking
Capture and report insights on:
Messaging effectiveness
Objections and buying triggers
Conversion rates and sales cycle length
Contribute to the development of repeatable scripts, processes, and playbooks

Experience & Skills
Essential:
Minimum
2 years' outbound sales experience
Proven ability to prospect and close own deals
Strong organisation, time management, and admin skills
Self-motivated and comfortable working independently
Experience using sales CRMs (e.g. HubSpot, Salesforce, or similar
Experience selling into SME or mid-market audiences
Desirable:
Exposure to new product launches, new markets, or early-stage propositions
Background in SaaS, digital marketing, eCommerce, or performance-led environments
