As the New Business Development Manager, your primary responsibility will be to drive new revenue growth by identifying, developing and securing new clients across multiple sectors. This includes facilities management, social housing, retail, DIY, housebuilding and trade services.
You will play a key role in expanding HIPPO's footprint, building a strong sales pipeline and positioning HIPPO as the partner of choice for sustainable waste solutions.
Key Responsibilities & Tasks:
Develop and execute a targeted new business sales strategy to achieve ambitious growth targets
Identify, research and engage potential clients through prospecting, networking and lead generation
Build and manage a robust sales pipeline across multiple sectors
Prepare and deliver high-quality proposals, presentations and tender submissions
Lead negotiations and close new business contacts in line with company commercial objectives
Work closely with marketing to align lead generation campaigns and sector-specific initiatives
Track and report on KPIs, pipeline activity and conversion performance
Stay informed on industry trends, competitor offerings and regulatory changes to identify opportunities
Attend networking events including conferences and exhibitions to understand market opportunities and to build the profile of HIPPO
Build and maintain strong relationships with internal departments to develop compelling propositions for various sectors
Manage and use of customer relationship management (CRM) systems to track and manage client interactions and data
