We are seeking a dynamic and strategic New Business Development Manager to lead our efforts in expanding the company's market presence and driving revenue growth. Duties
Conduct market research
to identify high-potential opportunities, emerging trends, and competitor activities.
Research and strategically target
net-new Personal Care and Skincare brands/retailers aligned with our manufacturing capabilities and strategic goals.
Initiate outbound prospecting efforts
(networking, cold outreach, referrals, events) to qualify leads and build a strong pipeline of new business opportunities.
Attend key industry trade shows and networking events
to enhance our market presence and generate new leads.
Build and maintain strong relationships
with prospective clients, partners, and stakeholders to foster long-term collaboration.
Develop and implement strategic plans
to expand the customer base and increase sales revenue.
Collaborate with marketing teams
to create targeted campaigns that support business development objectives.
Work closely with the Commercial team
to tailor innovation concepts and market insights for prospect presentations.
Lead the initial engagement and presentation stages
, clearly articulating our value proposition, R&D capabilities, and commitment to quality.
Manage the full sales cycle
, including prospecting, pitching, negotiating, and closing deals.
Coordinate with project management teams
to ensure smooth onboarding and successful delivery of services for new clients.
Transition newly secured accounts
to the appropriate Account Manager for ongoing relationship management and growth.
Prepare and maintain detailed reports
on sales activities, pipeline status, conversion metrics, and strategic initiatives for senior management.
Maintain accurate CRM records
documenting all NBD activities, progress, and outcomes.
Skills
Strong business development skills with a demonstrated ability to generate new leads and convert prospects into clients.
Excellent strategic planning capabilities to develop long-term growth initiatives.
Proven experience in sales, negotiation, and closing high-value deals.
