SPCK Launches New Marketing Internship Scheme - Starting September 2025
SPCK, the UK's leading Christian publisher, is delighted to announce the launch of a new Marketing Internship Scheme, beginning in September 2025.
We are seeking a cohort of three interns who are passionate about community development, content creation, and Christian literature. This is an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a leading publishing house while contributing fresh ideas and engaging with niche audiences.
You will spend around half of your time supporting SPCK's ongoing marketing and publicity activity for new (frontlist) and existing (backlist) titles. This will include social media marketing and campaign administration. The other half of your time will be launching one or more new marketing activities for SPCK focused on connecting with existing niche communities or creating new ones - especially aimed at Gen Z.
The internships are paid at the London living wage and four days a week will be based at SPCK's new office in Farringdon, with up to one day a week working from home.
No prior experience in marketing or publishing is necessary. We're looking for individuals who are:
Curious and driven
Digitally confident and fluent in social media
Eager to bring fresh ideas and perspectives
Passionate about faith, publishing, and community engagement
The internships will run until summer 2026 and will provide outstanding career development for the successful candidates to continue their career at SPCK or in the broader publishing and marketing worlds.
We are particularly keen to receive applications from candidates with experience of podcasting or video production, with an interest or background in theology, and from groups who are underrepresented in publishing.
Please send CV and covering letter answering the following questions to jobs@spck.org.uk
