New Role Shift Leaders In Production And Warehouse
Job Description
Marston Foods is an award-winning desserts manufacturers based on the outskirts of Frome, Somerset.
We are looking for enthusiastic section leaders to join our busy and growing team. This role will include supporting the Shift Leaders and Production Manager to develop a positive culture and implement Lean manufacturing principles.
This is a 4 on / 4 off shift pattern role, working 7am to 7pm.
We have three areas as part of our production: bakery, high care and low care / stores. The section leaders will support and direct the team members to complete their daily tasks, ensure training and development opportunities are met and daily huddles are productive and include opportunities for employee voice. It is essential that all section leaders will be able to work in all departments and will become - with training - advocates for business.
Requirements:
An enthusiasm to learn and work as part of a team is essential.
Support their team to complete daily plans
Always comply with the health and safety and food safety guidelines.
Taking responsibility for their own actions and the actions of others around them
All staff must understand the importance of flexibility and will be asked to cover other areas.
Ability to follow reasonable requests from shift leaders and all management.
Ability to be self-motivated and enthusiastic, including requests for training and development opportunities.
Be a supportive and positive team member.
