Job Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Support Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing high-quality care to individuals in need, including those in assisted living, nursing homes, and home care settings. This role involves working closely with clients to support their daily activities and enhance their quality of life.

Duties

As a Support Worker, your responsibilities will include:

Assisting with household tasks Assisting and supporting with personal care, including intimate personal care Medication prompting/ administering Moving and handling, including use of hoists and equipment

About You

You Will

Have good communication skills, both verbal and written Have the ability and initiative to work on a lone working basis Have good time keeping, time management and organisational skills Hold an SVQ2 in Health and Social Care,

or

have the ability and willingness to undertake this qualification Be required to obtain registration with the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC) within 6 months of taking up the post
