Job Overview

We are seeking an NQP Occupational Therapist, ideally with good understanding of neurodiversity to join our therapy team, You will be required to work across two sites in Kettering and Thrapston. The successful candidate will work closely with an experienced OT and be involved in assessing our pupils sensory needs and writing clinical reports -- initially with support and guidance. These assessments and reports will inform your planning and delivery of meaningful interventions, both on an individual basis and within group settings.

In this role, you will be required to complete a preceptorship year under the supervision of an experienced Occupational Therapist. During this period, you will work towards achieving specific competencies that must be signed off before you can begin practicing more independently.

Essential

Occupational Therapy BSc (Hons) Registered with HCPC Ability to work collaboratively as part of the multi-disciplinary team Ability to assess young people's needs and formulate plans, from a range of OT modalities. Ability to keep legible and accurate records in accordance with HCPC Good time management and organisational skills. Able to use initiative and be innovative. Full valid UK driving and access to own vehicle
Desirable

Previous experience working within a school environment ( could be in placement) A good Knowledge and understanding of Neurodiversity and trauma

Pay: 28,000.00-35,000.00 per year
