Milford Care are looking for a permanent, full-time night care assistant to join our fantastic, hard-working team at one of our care homes, Spencer Grove, in Belper.

Since opening in 2009, Spencer Grove has received many awards for excellence in care, including a number of winners at the Great British Care Awards and was also awarded "Best Healthcare Development" at the LABC East Midlands Building Excellence Awards.

Details of the Care Assistant positions and what the home is offering:

Permanent, full-time contracts, working night shifts, 36 hours over a 7 day rota Rate of 12.52 p/h (if 23 and over, NLW if under), plus an extra 15p per hour for NVQ qualified A comprehensive induction and ongoing learning and development opportunities A supportive atmosphere with a fantastic team spirit

What We Are Looking For In a Caring Assistant:

To work in Care, you need the right qualities but gain the qualifications. You may have some experience in a UK nursing home setting, but it is not essential. Preferably you will have a keen interest in working in older peoples' services A flexible approach to shift patterns and able to adhere to a 7 day rota You will be compassionate and respectful and able to build relationships with colleagues and those that you care for
