Job Description

We are looking for a person who can bring smile on the face of our service users and who can care for them with love and compassion. The basic qualification will be the:

Good team player Flexible and adaptable Willing to do personal care including toileting, washing, bathing etc willing to get trained for essential qualifications and other trainings You do not require any care experience to be a good carer but essential to be a good hearted person from any background including, hairdressers, housekeepers, drivers, delivery, receptionists, counter sales, packaging, accounts etc. We want the staff to feel like a big family and should never feel like they are working. The elderly residents at Mendip Lodge have contributed to this country and the society when they were young and able, its our turn now to look after them and their well-being.

Responsibilities

Assist residents with daily living activities, ensuring their comfort and safety throughout the night. Monitor and document residents' health and well-being, reporting any changes to the residents. Support the implementation of care plans tailored to individual needs. Maintain a clean and organized environment within the care home. Communicate effectively with residents and team members to foster a supportive atmosphere.
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 12.50 per hour
