Pay:

12.60 per hour

Hours:

22:00 PM - 8:00 AM

Pattern:

3 nights on, 3 nights off (includes weekends and public holidays)

Contract:

Permanent, Full-Time

About Towy Castle

Towy Castle is a 61-bed residential care home set in three acres of beautiful grounds with sweeping views over the Towy estuary. With over 35 years of care behind us, we offer high-quality residential and dementia support in a homely setting full of charm and character. Our long-standing team reflects our commitment to consistency, kindness, and quality care.

Your Role

As a Night Care Assistant, you'll play a vital role in supporting our residents through the quietest hours of the day, ensuring they feel safe, secure, and cared for.

Key responsibilities include:

Assisting with personal care (washing, dressing, toileting, mobility) Supporting residents with evening and night-time routines Providing emotional reassurance and companionship Monitoring residents' well-being and promptly reporting concerns Maintaining a clean, safe, and calm environment overnight

What We're Looking For

We welcome individuals who are:

Reliable, patient, and calm under pressure Adaptable to residents' changing needs Committed to delivering high-quality, person-centred care Previous experience supporting residents with dementia (preferrable) Dependable, proactive, and a great team player NVQ/QCF Level 2 in Health & Social Care (or willingness to work towards it) Strong communication and time management skills

Previous experience is helpful, but not essential.

Full training will be provided--you just need the right attitude and a genuine desire to care for others.
