NIGHT CARE ASSISTANT - CHILDREN\'S RESIDENTIAL CARE

\xc2\xa313.00 - \xc2\xa313.50 per hour / \xc2\xa326,097 - \xc2\xa327,101 per annum

We are seeking dedicated Night Care Assistants to ensure the safety of our children and young people within our Children\xe2\x80\x99s Service based in Much Hadham.

Based across 60 acres of beautiful countryside, St Elizabeth\'s is a charity supporting children, young people and adult day clients with epilepsy and other complex medical conditions, the severity of which impacts upon their health, social, behaviour, learning and emotional development. Our approach puts our young people at the heart of everything we do, enabling them to live safe, happy lives in a nurturing and welcoming environment.

What you\xe2\x80\x99ll be doing

Our children will sleep soundly knowing you are on hand to keep them safe using our specialist night monitoring equipment. Some of the key duties include;

  • Providing personal care to children and young people
  • Supporting the children in achieving their full potential
  • Maintaining records relating to the care and support provided to our children and young people.
  • Promoting physical and emotional support and well-being
  • Carrying out domestic duties, including cooking, cleaning and other tasks vital to maintaining a clean and tidy home environment
  • Administering medication (after training)
What do I need to have?

You need to be dedicated, motivated, caring and passionate about working with young people. Previous experience working with children or in care would be preferable but it not essential as we will provide you with the knowledge and skills through our comprehensive induction programme.

Location

We are located in Much Hadham, Hertfordshire and are in easy reach of the M25, M11 and A10 although we are not on a public transport route.
