Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will provide essential support to individuals in care homes and home care settings, assisting with daily living activities while promoting independence and dignity. This role requires strong communication skills, a commitment to high-quality care, and the ability to work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals. This role is 33 hours night shifts per week. There is always an option for overtime or covering holidays.

Uniform will be provided.

Duties

Assist residents with personal care tasks, including bathing, dressing. Support individuals in maintaining their daily routines and adhering to care plans. Provide companionship and emotional support to residents, fostering a positive environment. Document care activities accurately and maintain up-to-date records as required. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure the best outcomes for residents. Utilise IT systems for record keeping and communication purposes effectively.

Experience

Previous experience in a care home or home care setting is essential. A good understanding of care plans and the ability to implement them effectively. Familiarity with basic IT skills is required for documentation and communication purposes.
