As a member of the St Ewold's Management Team, this role is to provide leadership and supervision to the Personal Care staff within St Ewold's Care Home and/or undertake broader responsibilities to support the effective, efficient and compliant running of the Home.

Our Night Team Leaders work 24 hours a week across night shifts and are committed to the wellbeing of each resident, looking after any complex needs with real sensitivity.
This position attracts a starting salary of 23,963.91 per annum, (plus night shift allowance 665.66 per month) which is equal to 25.52 per hour.
As part of the St Ewold's team, you will:Develop and review individual care plans for residents and provide care to reflect them, enhancing the residents' physical, emotional and spiritual wellbeing
Undertake the role of a key worker with a group of residents, engaging in activities throughout the day
Work alongside residents' loved ones, attending residents review meetings, and welcoming other visitors to the home.

Key Responsibilities
Supervise Personal Care staff and ensure that individual performance, attendance, and compliance standards and requirements are met;
Coach, mentor or otherwise develop personal care staff, acting as a role model through your own work, approach, and professional behaviour;
Maintain care plans and other records in accordance with St Ewold's Care Home policy;
To ensure a safe living environment for the residents, whilst respecting the residents' choices and rights;
Provide personal care and support to all residents, including those with a range of mobility problems, illnesses and other disabilities;
Deal with emergencies promptly and in line with Home procedures;
Ensure the effective and compliant safeguarding of residents and staff within the responsibility of the postholder, reporting any concerns to the Registered Manager and/or Safeguarding lead;

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
NVQ / QCF / RQF Level 2 Health and Social Care.
Working knowledge of the Jersey Care Commission Care Standards for Care Homes (Adults).
Minimum of 2 years' experience working with elderly people.
Have a strong work ethic with the ability to motivate and inspire others.
Proven leadership, supervisory and communication skills.
Have a high level of discretion and diplomacy.
