As a Night Care Worker with CrossReach, you will offer comfort, dignity and reassurance to older people during the quieter hours. Your steady presence will help ensure everyone in our care feels safe, respected and supported throughout the night.

What your day could involve

Providing wakeful night cover as part of a dedicated care team Supporting with personal care, mobility and comfort Responding to emergencies with calm and confidence Promoting wellbeing through conversation, reassurance and kindness Helping to maintain a clean, safe and welcoming environment Liaising with health professionals and keeping accurate care notes

About you

You are caring, reliable and compassionate, with a commitment to treating every person with dignity and kindness. An SVQ Level 3 in Social Care is ideal, although you can work towards this with our support. You will need basic computer skills, SSSC registration and PVG Scheme membership. You will also be comfortable working within and upholding our Christian ethos.

This post requires you to be a member of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme and undertake the necessary vetting checks. You will also be required to be registered with SSSC and it is your professional responsibility to ensure that you meet the standards and criteria for registration.
