Job Description

You'll play an important part in providing care and comfort to older people through the night. As a Night Care Worker with CrossReach, you'll help create a peaceful and safe environment where every person feels valued, respected and cared for.

What Your Day Could Involve

Offering practical and emotional support during night hours Assisting with personal care and use of mobility aids Monitoring wellbeing and responding to individual needs Keeping the home clean, calm and comfortable Recording care information clearly and accurately Working alongside colleagues and health professionals to deliver high-quality care

About You

You're patient, understanding and dependable. You care deeply about the wellbeing of others and are always ready to help. You'll need basic computer skills and be registered with the SSSC and the PVG Scheme. Ideally, you'll hold an SVQ Level 3 in Social Care, or be working towards it with our support. You'll also respect and work within our Christian ethos, which underpins everything we do.

This post requires you to be a member of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme and undertake the necessary vetting checks. You will also be required to be registered with SSSC and it is your professional responsibility to ensure that you meet the standards and criteria for registration.
