Description

Working as part of a multi-disciplined team to provide a high-quality care service to residents, as a care worker you will

recognise the features of working in a person-centred way and why it is important to find out the history, preferences, wishes, and needs of the residents they are supporting provide care in accordance with best practice and legislative requirements, reflecting policies and procedures and agreed standards support and enable residents to maintain skills and personal interests whilst delivering person centred care unique to each individual maintain your skills and knowledge at an adequate level and will undertake training and assessment as required to maintain and progress your knowledge

The Ideal care assistant will:

A friendly approach and the ability to put residents at ease, whatever their physical or social needs Delivery of care in a residential/Nursing setting. A good knowledge of basic health care and hygiene standards Demonstrate the ability to work in a team Demonstrate self-motivation and confidence
