Job Description
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated night Healthcare Assistant to join our team to support one of our clients in PE34 providing exceptional care on a one to one basis. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills and a commitment to enhancing the quality of life for the individual in their own home. As a Healthcare Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the needs of our service user while ensuring their comfort and dignity.
Responsibilities
Assist service user with personal care tasks, including bathing, dressing, and grooming. Support service user in following their individual care plans, ensuring that their specific needs are met. Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare professionals to provide updates on resident well-being. Maintain accurate records of care provided and report any changes in residents' conditions to senior staff. Ensure the cleanliness and organisation of the home environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.
Requirements
Previous experience in a healthcare essential. Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written. Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being capable of working independently when required. Understanding of care plan and the ability to follow it accurately. DBS is required or one in process
