Vicars Game is a leading catering butchery business and part of the renowned Yattendon Estate, a private, family-owned rural estate. We supply premium meat and game to top restaurants across the region and into London, alongside operating a busy and popular farm shop on-site. Using traditional butchery methods and specialising in wild game, we take pride in delivering bespoke, high-quality products to our clients.

Overview

A vital role ensuring that customer orders are picked, checked, and dispatched accurately and on time. You'll play a key part in maintaining high standards of quality control and efficiency in a fast-paced environment. Experience in dispatch or warehouse operations is a plus, but full training is provided.

Responsibilities

Create an atmosphere where safety comes first. Maintain strict adherence to Company Health and Safety procedures. Create an atmosphere and culture where compliance is at the heart of the production operation. Ensure all HACCP procedures are complied with. Ensure that the End-to-End process of producing customer orders. Create an atmosphere and environment where we put the customer order accuracy at the heart of the production cycle. Ensure that the production team learn and understand customer specifications. Coordinate training requirements with Production Director. Share expertise and role model a passion for our products and customer service. Maintain a close eye on production standards to maintain quality and profitability in product output. Recommend any changes in the production cycle to the Production Director to reduce cost whilst

Qualifications

Level 3 in Food Manufacturing
