Role Overview:



As the Deputy Team Leader, you will work closely with the Team Leader to manage the day-to-day activities of the dispatch and packing team. You will help ensure that all customer orders are packed accurately, securely, and efficiently, maintaining the high standards of quality and service expected from our brand.

Key Responsibilities:



Support the Team Leader in overseeing daily dispatch and packing operations. Assist in coordinating shift schedules, staff allocation, and daily work priorities. Ensure all orders are packed accurately and dispatched within the required timeframes. Maintain high standards of packaging, product presentation, and dispatch accuracy. Monitor stock levels of packing materials and report shortages. Train and mentor team members on best practices, safety procedures, and company policies. Carry out quality control checks and ensure compliance with internal standards. Assist in resolving order discrepancies, delays, or customer issues related to dispatch. Ensure the team adheres to health and safety protocols. Act as point of contact and lead in the absence of the Team Leader.

Person Specification:



Essential:



Previous experience in a dispatch, fulfilment, or logistics environment. Proven ability to lead or supervise a team, even in an acting capacity. Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills. Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Reliable, punctual, and flexible with shift requirements. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Comfortable using warehouse/dispatch systems and technology.

Desirable:



Experience in the jewellery, watch, or e-commerce sector. Basic knowledge of health and safety and manual handling best practices.

Working Pattern:



Full-time: 40 hours per week Monday to Friday Rotating shifts - exact times to be confirmed will include lates.
