We are looking for a competent Night Duty Manager on a Casual basis for 3 months that can take control of the hotel when most people's days are coming to an end! As your title implies, you'll be working through the night and into the morning, usually between the hours of 9:30pm and 8am (Casual Agreement so hours to suit the needs of the business). As the hotel is open 24 hours a day, the type of customer you'll be dealing with may differ from those that you normally see at 3pm. They won't all be sober, and many may well be in their pyjamas...

As Night Duty Manager, you'll lead and support our team to ensure the effective running of the hotel during the night operation and oversee the Night Audit process. Responsible for ensuring our guests receive the highest levels of service, the nights team will provide a continual presence for guests, responding to requests and dealing with any enquires on reception, switchboard or from the hotel. You will have strong communication and organisational skills, and your commitment to delivering the highest levels of customer service will be unrivalled. A night in the life of a Night Manager is never dull, and this is an exciting opportunity to join a fantastic team on a permanent basis!

Reporting into the Front Office Manager, the role will be to cover on a temporary basis where you will be required to take responsibility for all aspects of the shift. This will include running of effective systems and procedures around the night auditing and financial processes; acting as Duty Manager each night, maintaining security and Health and Safety at all times. Knowledge of Opera CLOUD and ORS is required. The role holder must have a proven track record of excellent guest relations and dealing with guest complaints.
