Job Description

Experience essential for this job role. 55 bed nursing dementia home with mental health and Challenging Behaviour. Caring nature is essential. Weekends included as part of rota-one on one off. Training is given and level 2 encouraged to start if not already done for Carer job role. Shifts are 6.45pm-7am for the night shift.

ONLY CANDIDATES WITH RECENT CARE EXPERIENCE WILL BE CONSIDERED

Responsibilities



Support residents or clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and mobility assistance Assist with meal preparation and feeding where necessary Help maintain a safe and clean environment in accordance with health and safety guidelines Implement and update individual care plans in collaboration with senior staff Provide companionship and emotional support to service users Document care activities accurately using IT systems and communicate effectively with team members Follow all organisational policies regarding confidentiality and safeguarding

Experience



Previous experience working in a care home or home care environment is essential Good understanding of care plans and the ability to adapt support accordingly Basic IT skills for record keeping and communication purposes Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal Ability to demonstrate empathy, patience, and excellent interpersonal skills to build trusting relationships with service users
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 12.21 per hour

Expected hours: 36 per week
