We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Healthcare Assistant to provide high-quality support to clients in care homes and home care settings. Duties

Assist clients with personal care routines, including bathing, dressing, and grooming Support clients with mobility and transfer activities, ensuring safety at all times Help with meal preparation and feeding as required Follow individualised care plans to meet specific health and wellbeing needs Maintain accurate records of care provided and any changes in client condition Communicate effectively with clients, family members, and healthcare professionals Support clients in engaging with social activities and promoting their independence Ensure a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for all clients

Skills

Good communication skills in English, both verbal and written Ability to work effectively within a team and independently when necessary Strong IT skills for maintaining accurate records and following care plans Valid driving licence is desirable for home care roles involving travel between locations Experience working in a care home or providing home care is advantageous but not essential Ability to demonstrate empathy, patience, and professionalism at all times
