W Edinburgh will bring bold architecture and a vibrant lifestyle offering to the Scottish capital. Behind a fa\xc3\xa7ade featuring a winding steel ribbon \xe2\x80\x93 reflecting the city\xe2\x80\x99s festival spirit \xe2\x80\x93 this 12-storey structure will be the centerpiece of Nuveen Real Estate\xe2\x80\x99s Edinburgh St James Quarter, incorporating retail, leisure and entertainment facilities along with residential apartments.

This W hotel aims to help redefine the city\xe2\x80\x99s hospitality landscape. Accordingly, it\xe2\x80\x99ll fuse the brand\xe2\x80\x99s signature amenities with modern design and W Happenings, highlighting what\xe2\x80\x99s new in design, fashion, music and culture.

The new W hotel will accommodate guests across 244 stylish guestrooms, including 45 suites. While staying here, guests will benefit from the brand\xe2\x80\x99s signature Whatever / Whenever service philosophy.

A real highlight of this property will be its rooftop bar and outdoor terrace, pairing exciting cocktails and cuisine with 360-degree views over the historic city. Among the other noteworthy amenities planned are the W Lounge, a restaurant collaboration with SUSHISAMBA, a FIT workout facility and an AWAY spa, with special functions hosted in 2,450 sq ft of modern event space.

ABOUT THE ROLE

Reporting to the Welcome Office Manager (Front Office), the Night Manager at W Edinburgh will have overall responsibility for all property operations during the overnight shift, ensuring the highest levels of hospitality and service are provided during this time.

Joining the pre-opening team means you will be instrumental to the success of the hotel\xe2\x80\x99s opening and beyond. We are looking for someone who is detail-oriented, a people-person and passionate!

As Night Manager, key aspects of your role will include:

• Represent property management overnight in resolving any guest or property related situations.
• Monitor and ensure compliance with all guidelines to operations.
• Ensure employees and guests are in a safe environment overnight.
• Review financial, sales and activity reports and other performance data to measure productivity of the day, collate and distribute as required.
• Ensure all staff are adhering to proper cash handling procedures.
• Promote all Health and Safety protocols and ensure compliance daily, including ensuring all employees have complete knowledge of emergency procedures.
• Be a W brand ambassador, ensuring the brand\xe2\x80\x99s voice is present in your interactions with guests and staff
