Night Manager

to lead our busy pallet network operation. Working out of our modern, purpose-built warehousing facility just off J34 of the M1, you'll be responsible for keeping our night shift running smoothly and efficiently.

39,241.80 per year (based on 50 hours/week)

What You'll Be Doing:

Managing and overseeing all

night-time operations within the Pallex network

Leading, motivating, and supporting a team of

10 night warehouse and Driving staff

Carrying out Class 1 Duties When Required Ensuring all freight is scanned, loaded, and dispatched accurately and on time Coordinating with our Planning and Transport teams to maintain a smooth operation Maintaining high standards of safety, compliance, and operational efficiency Using your

FLT licence

to assist with loading/unloading when necessary Liaising with network partners and handling any night-time issues or escalations

What You'll Need:

Class 1 HGV licence (required - for shunting duties) Driver CPC & Tachograph Card Forklift Truck (FLT) licence (required) Previous experience in pallet network operations (Pall-Ex, Palletways, TPN, etc.) preferred Strong leadership skills with experience supervising or managing staff Excellent communication, organisation, and problem-solving abilities A proactive, hands-on approach with the ability to work under pressure A professional, positive attitude and strong work ethic
