. You will play a vital role in providing high-quality nursing care to residents, ensuring their safety, comfort, and wellbeing during night shifts.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver safe, effective, and person-centred care to residents throughout the night.
Administer and monitor medications in line with NMC guidelines and care home policies.
Carry out assessments, care planning, and documentation to ensure compliance with CQC standards.
Monitor and respond promptly to residents' changing health conditions.
Lead and supervise care staff on shift, ensuring all tasks are completed to a high standard.
Provide emotional support and reassurance to residents and families.
Maintain accurate records of care provided and communicate effectively with the multidisciplinary team.
Requirements:
Registered General Nurse (RGN) with valid
NMC PIN
.
Previous experience working in a care home or similar environment is highly desirable.
Strong clinical skills including medication administration, wound care, and health assessments.
Ability to remain calm under pressure and make sound clinical decisions.
Excellent communication, leadership, and teamwork skills.
