The Lansdowne Hotel Belfast is a busy, vibrant and local hotel which holds both a busy local bar & restaurant as well as hosting weddings, private events and conferences on a daily basis.

Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Night Porter to join our team at The Lansdowne Hotel Belfast. In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring our guests enjoyment of the hotel. The shift pattern is Friday and Saturday nights (11pm-8am) or Saturday and Sunday nights (11pm-8am).

Responsibilities

Assist late night returning or checking-in guests with luggage and provide a warm welcome upon arrival. Setting up breakfast tables for the next morning Breaking down event rooms and resetting for the next day's events. Ensure the lobby and entrance areas are clean and well-maintained. Doing regular walk-arounds of hotel. Provide information about hotel services to guests. Support the front desk team with guest check-ins and check-outs as needed. Provide a good handover with morning receptionist of payments or anything else important.

Requirements

Previous experience in a similar role is highly preferred Strong communication skills with a friendly demeanor. Experience setting up events - tables, chairs, tablecloths, crockery and glassware. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Multilingual or bilingual skills are an asset but not mandatory. A positive attitude and willingness to assist guests at all times. Being able to work indepedently as well as part of a team.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: 12.50-13.00 per hour

Expected hours: 18 per week
