Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Porter to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and organisation of our facilities, ensuring a welcoming environment for both staff and visitors. This position requires a proactive individual who takes pride in their work and is committed to upholding high standards of service.

Responsibilities

Maintain cleanliness in all areas, including lobbies, hallways, restrooms, and outdoor spaces. Assist with the setup and breakdown of events or meetings as required. Transport items such as furniture, equipment, and supplies throughout the premises. Monitor and restock cleaning supplies and materials as needed. Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel. Provide exceptional customer service by greeting guests and assisting with inquiries. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times.

Experience

Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not essential; training will be provided. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately. Excellent communication skills and a friendly disposition. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Physical stamina to perform manual tasks, including lifting and moving items as necessary.
