The Royal George is a newly refurbished pub with rooms in Tintern Wales. Home to beautiful bedrooms, destination dining across multiple outlets, and stunning outdoor spaces. We're looking for a calm, capable Night Porter to help ensure the building is clean, secure, and guest-ready throughout the night. You'll support the Night Manager with late check-ins, early check-outs, guest queries, and building checks -- always with a steady hand and professional approach.

What you'll be doing:

Greet and assist late arrivals and early departures

Keep public spaces, restrooms, and entrances clean and tidy overnight

Complete overnight tasks such as amenity top-ups, refilling laundry stores and breakfast set-up

Carry out regular safety and security checks across the building

Support guests with requests, directions, or questions -- no matter the hour

Communicate clearly with the night and day teams to keep operations running smoothly

Replenish amenities and linen, and report any issues or maintenance needs

Follow safety procedures, room checklists and overnight schedules

Bring a positive, team-focused approach to every shift

Collaborating with Food & Beverage, Reception and the wider team to deliver seamless guest journeys

What we're looking for:

Previous experience in cleaning, facilities, hospitality, or night work (desirable but not essential)

A reliable, calm, and proactive team player

Someone with a strong work ethic, eye for detail, and pride in presentation

A clear communicator who brings a helpful, guest-first attitude

Someone who brings positive energy, solutions, and heart to the work

Someone who is calm under pressure and thoughtful in decisions
