The Garfield House Hotel, Eglinton Arms and Moorings Hotels are a collection of three privately owned and operated hotels under the Best Western brand. We are a proudly independent group with all three hotels operating as the hub of the community they are set in.

At all three of our hotels, along with the bedrooms, we have popular restaurants, where the food is both fresh and seasonal and the bars offering a large selection of premium beers, gins, rums, whiskies and wines.

Running in tandem with our bars and restaurants we have busy function suites and private dining areas ranging in size to a maximum of 180 guests.

The Role:

As Night Porter, you will have a hands-on approach in overseeing the hotel's operations from 11pm until 7am. It is mainly a lone working role with the exception of function and events.

The role includes the following

Reception duties such as checking guests in and out, end of day.

Serve hotel residents who have food or beverage requirements

Complete a checklist of public area cleaning duties to ensure the hotel is presentable when guests leave their bedrooms for breakfast

Complete security walk-rounds of the hotel

Assist guests with any needs overnight

The Person:

The ideal person has previous experience of working at night in a hotel and enjoys helping maintain an interactive guest experience whilst helping maintain consistent service delivery.

The ideal candidate will also have some the following:

an ability to communicate effectively available to work weekend shifts

Pay: 12.21 per hour

Expected hours: 15.5 - 24 per week
