Maryculter House Hotel is one of the most famous and oldest hotels in Aberdeen. We are looking to recruit an experienced Night Porter to join our team.

The Role:

As a night porter, you will be solely responsible for the hotel and guest's safety and wellbeing throughout the night.

The role also requires a significant amount of involvement with banqueting and F&B, by means of assisting with set-up for large scale events and working behind the bar serving guests.

Alongside this, other responsibilities include security walks, fire safety checks manning the reception desk; handling guest queries and requests, answering phone calls, checking guests in and out.

Previous experience with reservation systems is advantageous but training will be provided.

We are looking for individuals who have previous experience in a similar role, preferably in a hotel environment.

We are looking to hire on a flexible basis, as our business is highly seasonally dependent. Weekly hours may vary from 8 - 32 hours, based on business requirements.

Hourly rate is negotiable dependent on experience.

Please note that Maryculter House is no serviced by public transport. Due to the nature of the shift patterns having access to your own transport is essential for the role.
