Night Porter

We are looking for a night porter to add to our Team.

About Murrayshall:

Set in 365 acres of stunning Perthshire countryside, Murrayshall offers a luxurious four-star country house experience in the heart of Scotland. Lovingly restored over the past few years, the former home of Lord Lynedoch dates back over 400 years. It is situated just 3 miles from the cultural city of Perth, offering guests a tranquil haven in which to unwind and relax, with 40 elegant and spacious rooms and suites, 27-holes of stunning parkland golf and delicious local cuisine in our Eolas Restaurant.

Key Responsibilities:

Ensure the building is secure for guests throughout the night Ensure that the highest levels of hospitality and service are provided during the overnight shift Resolve issues as they arise and providing feedback to teams Deal with any guest enquiries efficiently and effectively Maintain good awareness of all hotel areas Oversee the security of the building Ensure health and safety procedures are followed throughout the hotel when on duty. General cleaning of hotel areas Event/Meeting room set ups Breakfast set up Late guest check in when applicable Completion of necessary paperwork/reports Answering calls.

Person Specification:

Excellent communication skills Caring, friendly and calm nature Positive attitude Great organisational skills Excellent attention to detail Able to work on own initiative Ability to problem solve efficiently.

Key Skills/Job Requirements:

Previous experience in a similar role, in a hospitality setting preferable but not essential Proficient and confident in H&S and Fire procedures. Please note- due to insurance purposes you must be aged 25 or over to apply for this role.

Job Type: Permanent, 4 on 4 off shifts on a rotational basis. 10pm to 8am
