Job Description
We are looking for a Night Porter to join our team at the Lion + Pheasant Hotel in Shrewsbury.
The Role
As a Night Porter, you will be the first point of contact for our guests during the night. Your duties will include:
Welcoming and assisting guests with check-in/check-out Handling late-night enquiries and providing information Maintaining the security of the hotel overnight Supporting with housekeeping tasks Carrying out light cleaning duties in public areas Monitoring fire safety and security systems
What We're Looking For
Previous experience in hospitality or a customer-facing role preferred but not essential A friendly, approachable manner and good communication skills Reliability and the ability to work independently Basic IT skills for using booking systems (training provided) A keen eye for detail and a commitment to safety and cleanliness
Weekend Availability is required.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: 12.50 per hour
Work Location: In person
