Night Porter - The Welcombe Hotel, Stratford-upon-Avon

About Us:

The Welcombe is a stunning, calendar country house hotel on the edge of Stratford-upon-Avon, with 85 bedrooms, 7 apartments, a Spa with swimming pool, 18-hole championship golf course, and acres of landscaped gardens - a beautiful place to work!

Role: Night Porter

Hours:

Hours to suit- Casual Hours

Shifts:

11pm - 7am

Pay:

Competitive hourly rate + hotel benefits.

What you will do:

Carry out night security and regular floor checks to ensure guest safety. Set up and prepare meeting rooms and event spaces for the next day's business. Complete deep cleaning tasks during quieter hours to keep our hotel looking its best. Support with guest requests, check-ins/check-outs during the night. Ensure all public areas are clean, tidy, and guest-ready. Support the Night Manager with night audit tasks as required. Handle any guest issues overnight with professionalism and warmth.

About you:

A friendly, helpful attitude with a commitment to guest service.
Ability to work independently and manage your time during quieter hours.
Physically fit to manage room setups and some heavy lifting.
Attention to detail, ensuring high cleaning standards.
Previous hotel or night porter experience is an advantage but not essential as full training will be provided.
