Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and professional Porter to join our team in providing exceptional service to our guests. The ideal candidate will ensure all guest needs are effectively dealt with, guest belongings are secured and hospitality is of the highest standard. Perform all practical portaging skills effectively.

Responsibilities

Set up and cleaning of any rooms that are requested to the company brand standards Completion of security checks Checking in and out of guests Preparation of food and drink as requested by guests Ensuring public areas are free of dirty crockery and glasses Ensuring that any late arrival guests are dealt with in a professional manner and roomed effectively Any additional tasks delegated by the Duty Manager Deliver any room service as ordered by our guests To deliver newspapers on a daily basis as previously ordered by hotel guests To ensure that any guests within the hotel are dealt with quickly and efficiently Make every effort to maximise sales opportunities. Abide by all relevant Health & Safety and licensing legislation

Skills

Professional phone etiquette to handle guest inquiries professionally. Experience in a hotel or hospitality setting is highly desirable. Excellent guest service skills, demonstrating a commitment to guest satisfaction.
